How to slow down audio files?

#1
Hi,

I have Harry Potter m4a audio files on my laptop. However, at the moment the speed at which it is spoken is too fast. Therefore, I am looking, quite simply for a program which allows me to slow down the audio by around 20%. I still want it relatively quick so it is challening but not as fast as it currently is.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what software to use?

I tried googling and downloaded 3 different pieces of software, but none of which can do what I want.

Help please!

I have already tried downloading that but it does not support m4a files.

I get a message saying please convert to a WAV or an AIFF file? I've never heard of them...

If I convert the m4a file to an mp3 file, will mp3s work with audacity?
