Does anyone know good ressources/tips for sketching/drawing?

Do you mean sketching/drawing in general? For manga I can point you to howtodrawmanga.com, for example.

I meant sketching in general (naturalistic sketching, sketching still-lives etc). Thanks for the link though.

I recall there were a few book recommendations in these past threads, Tori.

I've bought it myself... slowly going through it, it's great so far(for the total beginners to drawing). If you're like me - no idea how to actually draw and want to be able to draw what you see realistically - this book is certainly a good, maybe even the best, choice.

A video which shows the same things you will have to do while going through the book:

Some of my favorites on my shelf. I like figure drawing, so many of these (except the first) are slanted in that direction.

KEYS TO DRAWING by Bert Dodson <- my personal favorite book on the mechanics of drawing, and the beginner's book I would recommend

SKETCHING PEOPLE: LIFE DRAWING BASICS by Jeff Mellem <- great exercises and tips in this little book

DRAWING THE HEAD AND FIGURE by Jack Hamm

DRAWING THE LIVING FIGURE by Joseph Sheppard

I also recommend some of the tutorials from http://drawing-tutorials-online.com/ as I think he's a great instructor. It's worth it to subscribe for at least one month so that you can download and use a couple of his end to end courses.
