Hello Everyone,

I apologize if in my n00bness I missed this via search. I wanted to turn to the experience of the community and ask if there any recommendations on VPN providers?

The goal is to be able to have an IP based in Japan for sites that are IP restricted. The few I've seen mentioned in threads are:

OverPlay (requires a scanned copy of credit card which is concerning)
Purevpn
Witopia

Any advice is appreciated. Thank you Smile

IPVanish is another one. Unlike many providers, they don't keep any logs of your activity.
They sell preconfigured routers to make things easier.

I heard that HideMyAss had issues with their servers being in Japan but actually showing up as form a US block? I'll definitely take a look at StrongVPN too. I plan to test it out, and hopefully share my findings with everyone.
