I am not good at Japanese language but i want to study in Japan. I am pro of physics and Mathematics. My English is not that bad. I know Japanese language little. Should i take EJU? Of course i will take Monbukagakusho next year. I am worrying because Monbukagakusho is not quite safe. Is it possible to combine TOEFL score and EJU score of science (Japanese sucks) to apply Japan Universities. In addition, i am International Mathematical Olympiad bronze medal holder. Anyone please advice me for enrollment to Japan Universities.

Japanese is not necessary if you find the right programme.
Credentials should suffice. You will need to pass entrance exams, but especially as a foreigner you might get special treatment. TOEFL is a requirement, not a factor which is to be graded.
Practice your English. You will need to pass an English test in order to get the Monbusho. That being said, the actual university standards can be quite low.

Anand Wrote:Anyone please advice me for enrollment to Japan Universities.Get in touch with the universities that you wish to apply for. Only they can tell you what their entrance requirements are. My experience is getting a bit dated, I entered as an undergrad in 2007, but back then the requirements varied heavily depending on the university.

Also, Japan has no top undergraduate university so if you want a top university you are looking in the wrong country. The Japanese rankings only apply to people who buy into the entire system of corporate Japan but if you are interested this is a ranking based education and job potential.
Furthermore you will be limited to schools that offer either full or partial English curriculums. For example Waseda only offers a small portion of their undergraduate programs in English.
JASSO has more information no studying in Japan than you'll get from this forum so I suggest you start there.
