Just came across this inspiring (short) movie on MetaFilter:

Interesting, I'll give it a watch. I've always been wondering what kind of effect it would have to be able to see the whole planet in front of your eyes, how would that change the way you perceive yourself and perhaps affect your religious/philosophical views
