Sentences from "Reading Real Japanese"

#1
Hey everyone. I'm currently reading "Reading Real Japanese" and I'd really like to get all the sentences into anki. I typed up all of 神様 (kamisama) manually. But of course it's really time-consuming - so i'm wondering if these short stories already exist online someplace where I can just copy-paste?

thanks Smile

I don't know, but I'm wondering why you're doing it for every sentence. I would maybe limit it to phrases and interesting vocabulary that you find so that you continuously improve your Japanese with stuff that has relevance.

Well not literally every sentence, but everything with a new word or grammar structure that I felt was relevant.

I recommend that you read through it first, though. Picking a hard sentence with four unknown words kinda sucks if the words are included in easier sentences later in the story.

And enjoy it first! Don't extract vocab before you actually know the story. Smile

I would just go through the book with a highlighter and just highlight the words and stuff that I don't and just go back and look things up. If the same words you don't know keep showing up over and over again, then it would be time for a dictionary. I would probably make flashcards, whether by hand or on a computer, of the stuff that I highlighted.
