Hi everyone, I came across this anime on Crunchyroll. Each episode contains 3 children's folktales. What's interesting is that the language used is very childish and hence easy to understand. Perfect for a learner!!

It's actually called Folktales from Japan. That's the name of the anime :-)

Just thought I'd add something about Crunchyroll that people may not know about. On all fairly recent (up to a few years old) episodes, you can right click the video and turn off the subtitles.

It used to be hard-subbed at the lowest resolution.

Edit: Just tried and works just fine even without premium.

This trips a bug in CR whereby the site will give you videos with hard-coded Portuguese subtitles. :-p I had a problem with my account where I couldn't switch the language back, and could only get Portuguese or English hard-subs. Fortunately, the good folks at CR fixed it. A number of language learners use CR for immersion, and the company seems cool about supporting that.
Also, be warned that you can't turn off subtitles on their mobile app. They have to hard-code subs for mobile devices for performance reasons.
