Hello. I tried searching, but wasn't sure what keywords I should've used and didn't find anything relevant.

Is it possible to start with the Kanji and the flip is the English? I'm sure that this isn't as useful, but I personally think that a bidirectional association is better than just English to Kanji.

If you mean the Reviewing the Kanji website, then no, it's not possible to review from the kanji to the keyword.

If you just want the ability to do so regardless of why it is so, then the link I posted above mentions Anki and I think there are decks that do it.

PS: On Reviewing the Kanji there is a Labs tab that was added a few months ago which has some review funcitonality which provides a way to test yourself from kanji to keyword. In the Vocab Shuffle mode, the tooltip of the kanji shows the keyword so you can try to remember before revealing the keyword (and clicking the characters take you to the Study page).

Alright. Thanks for the information. I didn't want to bump an old thread so I'll just post my reasoning why here:

I saw "keyword to kanji" as more of an interim step such that I could quickly associate Kanji with its Keyword because recalling exactly how to write certain Kanji that I wasn't too familiar with took a while. With Kanji -> Keyword I could quickly blaze through a lesson multiple times rather quickly. As each lesson's kanji shared elements with one another, I would "naturally" be better at writing them.

Here is what I've been doing for each lesson:
1. Read a RtK lesson.
2. Write down on binder paper once: Keyword | Kanji | Keypoints/Primatives
3. Make flash cards (cut up cardstock because I only recently found this site)
4. Kanji -> Keyword (1-3 times)
5. Keyword -> Kanji (2-3 times though some select kanji took more)
6. Quiz on koohii (80% or greater for each lesson so far)

Yes, but this is irrelevant and I would like to thank you for making these resources available because I know that making 2000+ flash cards will eventually be too difficult to quiz myself with.
