One of the first editions of RtK with word from Heisig

These are photos of Mary Noguchi (of kanjiclinic.com) 's copy of RtK, that I meant to post a while ago. As you can see from the dedicace it's at least 12 years old and still in pretty good condition (just teasing on meolox who's looking for a Hardback Version, hehe) :

Inside, a dedicace from the man himself :

My school (関西外国語大学) has a copy of every edition of RTK1, including the original "Adventures in Kanji-land" which is a poorly bound book with photograph quality pages. It looks like something a school printshop assembled (which afaik is what it was originally). I'm glad it was totally redone for the RTK edition 1 - the characters looked horrible in the original.

The condition of all the editions was better than what meolox (and Laura) describe theirs as Big Grin

I should have assembled them all together on a table and taken a picture before I finished there.

Hey I think it's ok, sure mine is falling apart but I look upon it as battle scars, a sign of how my mind is being ravaged by all this new knowledge.
