Write here what made you feel motivated right now.
If you're not motivated, don't write anything, just read.
The aim of this thread is to make unmotivated people find their way to real strong solid motivation.
And seriously, don't write superfluous trivial things that no one cares about.
...ps- it's definitely not the thread for boasting

I'm motivated because I just made the transition to a mono dictionary and I enjoy challenges. I've also been playing the Tales of the world 3 that just came out ^_^ playing games that have no chance of being translated is amazing!

I feel motivated because I ditched a way of studying grammar that was boring to me and started up on one that's fun. It makes SRSing sentences exciting instead of boring.

I feel motivated because:
- I've managed to add 25 new kanji a day for the last week, for the first time in ages, and I feel like I'm finally back in the groove. The number of reviews is manageable, I'm making a little progress every day, and my recall percentage is holding steady.
- Started reviewing Core2K in Anki a couple of weeks ago and even though I don't know all of the kanji yet, some of the ones I didn't know a little while ago, I know now. I can see that I'm getting somewhere!
And finally, I feel motivated because I was supposed to have arrived in Tokyo today. I haven't gone, due to the earthquake and other problems, but this delay has made me even more determined that when I do go, my Japanese will be that much better.

I feel motivated right now because i managed to read three chapters of harry potter today without too many problems. A few months ago it was a meaningless mess of unknown vocab and kanji

I'm massively motivated to learn Japanese right now, as I'm making decent progress (10 new sentences, 20 new vocab items per day), and reviews are getting easier, Motivation comes from the fact that each time I learn a new word, I seem to see it popping up in Japanese tv or websites or somewhere, very cool!

This thread "What would you do in 150 days?" made me remember that I have to deal fast with all kinds of uni entrance papers and stuff. Community is a good thing ^^
Sometimes reading and remembering about my goals gets me motivated!

I searched for, found and downloaded 18 presumably very dope Hip hop albums I haven't heard yet!
Lot's of new fresh motivating music to last me for a week or some!
Fresh and new is good.

I'm moving to Taiwan in 2 weeks - this gives me big motivation to learn mandarin!
I'm also really enjoying doing Reviewing the Hanzi - it's fun making those stories, and satisfying going through 20-30 characters a day.

Hey everyone, this is my first post here!
Not as impressive as the others, but here it goes:I'm motivated because I (finally) passed N4 after years of being a slacker/chronic pessimist! Since I've passed I've been studying for N3 and things are starting to "click" more and more. I'm also really motivated by reading everyone else's positive attitudes on this forum. So...thanks!

It's summer for 2 weeks and I still have 3 months to kill. Finally started to take a serious tab at Japanese grammar.
Just counted and have 12 windows open, not including tabs on browser. 3x anki deck + search/add new windows, pdf, evernote, timer.
Oh yeah, ass kicking mode:on.

I am motivated because my sentences deck has made a definable impact on the way I learn Hindi and is showing results. So, I am even more eager to apply this to Japanese.

I'm motivated because I finally figured out how to get Learning With Texts set up on my computer! (It wasn't hard, but previously my mind glazed over when I realized I needed to set up my own server.) I think it suits me a little better than Anki for my purposes because of the way it incorporates the context of each sentence, so I've been trying to input a few short editorials and essays.
