Reading Japanese is good, we all know that. One source of new material that's always available, and generally thought to be written at a high-level is news!

Problem is, most news is boring!

So I get most of my English news input from Fark.com. I figured this could be a great idea to find interesting news articles in Japanese

Anyone know of any Japanese version of a fark-like site?

slashdot is also good, but I wish it was updated more -- like fark
Also excite's odd news also doesn't update as fast as I would like. I guess I'm part of this 'i want it now' generation...
