I've just started (and suprised that I've remembered the first 20). I try writing the kanji on normal notebook paper and for the first set it was simple. But when I got to 吾 and 冒, I realized that my college ruled paper is just too small to write them large enough for me to read. I can see that after a while one would get used to writing them that small but I need to write them large enough that I can read them. 日 and 目 look really similar when they are writen small (at least in my hand writing). Do Japanese students use a wider ruled paper then I'm used to or should I just ignore the lines on the paper and write really large?
