There is now a Shared Deck on anki of the DOJG series! It seems pretty complete. I will be using my MISAKI neospeech voice and get started on those soon! Very exciting to have those available, and I thought I'd try and let some people know that they're up on Anki, check for mistakes though as the French uploader admits there may be a few.
IMO, this is one hell of a guaranteed path to understanding most Japanese grammar, and if you have the books for reference as you go through then I think you're set.

Awesome. Just one suggestion.
I've been working on an Anki deck for "All About Particles" and
one thing I've done with the Anki deck is to highlight the grammar
pattern in red.
Maybe you can do the same while you're adding your Misako audio?
Would appreciate it.
Thanks.

Oh, I might do the same as I go just for reinforcements sake, I'm about halfway on KO right now though and after I finish that I will go through this dictionary. Japanese is kind of on hold at the moment, I'm only adding 25 sentences per day but I figure it's better than nothing. But I definitely plan on going through this deck when I finish KO. I've already complete Tae Kim beforehand so KO's grammar is relatively easy but when I watch some shows I find that there certainly is long way to go grammar wise after I finish KO.

Hmm... You know, going through that whole deck would just be a big freakin chore.

there would be little point in going thru the whole deck one by one. its better as a resource. I would never ask a student of english to go thru a whole dictionary front to back.
Frequency list are best, so a grammar deck sorted by freq is superior to this. However, if you can deal with the mistkes, it DOES have a ton of strong sentences. I'll diffeently keep it around.

Setting Jarvik's blogpost aside, what is this? Edit: brianobush ruined my burrrn oh well
Is it a deck where someone's copied all the sentences out of a grammar book...? I haven't even heard of the book before. Is it as entertaining as KO, what kind of language does it use, etc. At what level of Japanese study can you benefit from this?
Edit2: Reading it again, this sounded too demanding. Just a link with some good info is ok with me!

Yonosa, I've noticed mistakes straight away when opening the deck, and I'm a beginner, but it does not matter and the whole point is the following: THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING & CONTRIBUTING TO OUR COMMUNITY! This deck will definitely become a winner in the long run, I'm sure of this.

I would go through ''All about Particles'' instead. Not sure if its as complete as Dictionary of Basic Japanese Grammar, but sentences are generally short and there aren't an exhaustive list of examples.
I am almost finished doing all the sentences from All About Particles, then I spend about 2 to 3 weeks doing the AJATT sentence pack (i bought it might as well use it). After that its monolingual straight from stuff I find interesting.

About how many sentences does this deck contain? I have a copy of the actual book, which I plan to go through eventually, and if this contains that many errors I might as well type it out myself, it there aren't too many sentences. I guess too many here would be more than 300.

i think that's a LITTLE more than 300 ^^
Yeah, even just looking at a few pages in the book you'll come across more than 300 sentences so that was kind of out of left field for me, LOL
I have all 3 books and wonder the same, if I should use it, or just type it out myself as part of the initial review process, still a great resource though ^^

I think that series of dictionaries is absolutely wonderful! I have copies myself for when I don't know how to explain a Japanese concept in English; it words things much better than I could.
Actually, does anyone know something similar for Mandarin? I have two friends friends learning Mandarin, and I can't really suggest any books to them since I didn't learn it through English.
