KO Kanji Coverage

#1
So I was under the impression it only covered 1110 Kanji... But I was on their website and it says, book 1 and 2 covers 1110 Kanji and book 3 ads the balance to make up 2001 Kanji.

Now i'm curious to know does the Anki deck with the full audio contain all 2001 Kanji? This deck was composed from the e-book and their website says that that contains all 2001 kanji throughout the 3000 example sentences.

So i'm guessing that that anki deck covers 2001 Kanji then right? Cos I only thought it was 1110.

I think book 3 isn't out yet.

The impression I get from their website is that the CD-ROM E-Book version covers more than the paper books.

You can only buy books 1 and 2 so yes, you're right, book 3 isn't out yet. What I know to is is the information that would be in book 3 present on the E-Book version?

I mean, I only ask all this because I have the Anki deck with full audio and was under the impression It was only going to teach me to read 1110 Kanji but it'd be a seriously big bonus if in fact it actually covers 2001.

I own both books and the CD. The book provides example sentences for all of the vocabulary words up to Kanji 1110. The CD provides audio for those first 1110 Kanji sentences AND includes the additional 891 Kanji but WITHOUT sentences for them. It simply lists the Kanji and a few vocabulary words for each.

What some people have suggested doing is finding the smart.fm sentences with those remaining Kanji and then exporting those sentences into Anki so we'd have a complete 2001 KO vocabulary set.

Had a quick peak through the smart.fm core 2000 and 6000 lists, and they were missing the kanji above 1110 that I searched for Sad

Ahhh very helpful post.

Maybe that would be a good option to fill in the blanks. It's a bit silly there's no example sentences although I guess they'll bring out an updated version when book 3 is out.
