The report fairies are at work...

#1
Ok, I am a bit stumped. I have checked my entry for keyword 317 and I can see nothing wrong with it. What am I missing? Also, can we please have a way of contacting the person that reports the keyword so that we can find out what their objection was? Or perhaps allow other folks to vote down the report? I had an almost unblemished track record with my stories and now I cannot sleep at night for fear of having offended someone's sensibilties with my crude and disturbing story about holes.

(By the way, my last comment, in case it was not clear, was sarcasm).

It could be just a mistake, because the buttons are close together, this isn't the first time it happens.

Most people don't know that you can un-vote or un-report simply by clicking another time.

Checking your story, I'd guess the report is because you have referred to "mouth", 口, as "hole".

But "hole" is used for a different primitive that appears in many characters later in the book e.g. 空突究 (first five strokes).

Primitive names need to be unique for the system to work. If you rename any of Heisig's primitives (which can be a good idea) then I suggest to: a) Check the book's index first to make sure that name isn't used later, and b) To avoid any confusion, point out in the story text that you've changed the primitive name.

Thanks for your replies. I think the use of 口 for hole came from the phrase 'largest hole in your head' that Heisig uses in his description, but since it may cause confusion later on I have changed it to 'ground has an opening' which is pretty much the same without keyword confusion.
