So... Like half of the categories in Jeopardy? I generally suck at Jeopardy (following along, that is), because most of it is pointless trivia, yet every time a category about English words or stuff about science comes up, I feel like it's just common knowledge. (But holy cow, do they love doing categories where you have to name authors, actors, producers, etc.; I hate those.)
I have a feeling that this is the equivalent of those obscure/difficult English words they call for on Jeopardy. Granted, in Jeopardy, it's usually tested by definition or synonym and not just by reading.
