FYI, yesterday I decided to make a big push in vocab. Perhaps because I have been making so much progress in reading recently. But I upped my new vocab (all from my N3 kanji book) to 5 a day.
I found that scanning the book, and adding in the words that "seem easiest", regardless of where they appear in the book, is the easiest way to learn them.
