Though, I can technically attempt to watch "Youkai Watch" raw as it is essentially slice with the exception of the 妖怪. I love the anime (simple plot yet hilarious) and the 3DS game is fun too. I'm not sure if I am ready to take the Japanese sub/raw plunge with anime besides Shirokuma
I would never ever consider reading / watching japanese (multi)media stuff solely for learning purposes. Enjoyment is the factor. If you're enjoying it, you will make progress one way or another.
