I have created a subs2srs deck that I would like to share with everyone. It is for the movie "Nyanko The Movie 2", which is a documentary film that follows the life of some cats. Its a fun movie and has very easy Japanese. Its an ideal movie for beginners. I chose the 2nd movie in the series because for some reason, this one has English subtitles but the other ones don't. You can also find places to download the movie online pretty easily if you look.

The deck itself is in the anki2 format. I only included the narrator's dialogue, because its very clear and easy to hear. The deck is just a little bit under 600 cards.
It has fields for the Japanese phrase, english, audio, image, and I also added a field for vocabulary that I looked up while studying the deck.
Please keep in mind that the english is NOT a literal translation, and in many cases can be quite different from what the Japanese actually says. It's just included to help give you a rough idea of the meaning.

Thanks a lot for the deck! Just a quick question, is the default setup meant mostly for listening practice? I've never used a subs2srs deck before so I'm not sure the best way to study it.

Well you can study it however you want. Maybe you want to display the japanese sentences on the front at first to get aquainted with the sentences, then start over as listening only. Thats what I did.
