I've actually just started learning Hindi and Urdu with this old BBC series (I have the book too). Walking past an Urdu book shop resulted in an impulse purchase of an Urdu Bol Chaal, which turned out to be terrible, and now I'm really interested in the language.
Edit: Malala Yousafzai is hugely inspiring and it's great to see she did so well with her A levels. Even discounting all the obstacles she had to overcome it's an achievement to be proud of.
