Edit: Oops, didn't realize Anki's up to 1.1.12 and no longer renames?

Yes, Damien removed the renaming thing in version 1.1.8, but you have to add the file from inside Anki (if you drag and drop, it renames the file with something like "pastexyz.xyz"). He's updating the development version constantly and added a lot of new functionalities, it's very nice.
