buonaparte I already answered your second question:
blahah Wrote:buonaparte Wrote:You need to use an RTMP dumper to download the FLV stream to a file.Javizy Wrote:NHK and TBS have video to accompany some of their stories too.A question:
Has anyone ever mangaged to actually download the vids? I mean to your computer?
These are very easy to download for later viewing (FNN, TBS, NNN):
http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/videonews/
get one here: http://goo.gl/jkj1
then to get the RTMP address for the video, go to the story you want to watch, press 'PLAY' on the video image, and when the little video box expands you need to right-click just outside the flash video but inside the video box. View source, and the address is in there, like this:
Quote:value="fms=rtmp://flv.nhk.or.jp/ondemand/flv/news/&movie=K10056809911_1012070038_1012070041" name="flashvars"></object></td>edit: that only applies to NHK, I haven't figured out the TBS videos yet (but NHK only took 10 minutes)
edit2: for TBS videos, just click the 'WMP' link (either one) underneath the video. If you open the file in VLC, you can save the stream. Or, you can open the file in a text editor and copy/paste the html link to the actual video (asf) which you find inside into your browser and download the file.
