Okay, so to run it, you need to compile it under linux. From the helpfile:
I don't have any plans to do this, so I won't be reviewing it. Let me know if you plan on distributing a binary that can be run on Windows, or a linux virtual machine image with ASTA loaded and ready to go.

Currently works on Linux platforms with cmake, ffmpeg & Python. After download
$ cd /path/to/asta/machine-learning/tools/marsyas-xx/src
$ cmake .
