As for the tips thank you. Actually im after adult books whose vocabulary and kanji arent too intense. The oxford graded readers actually let english learners read books such as a tale of two cities or sherlock holmes etc. They essentially find books which are already suitable for learners without modifying them so much. Thats pretty much what im after with furigana. Once i read one book ill attempt more kanji intense books.
Bookoff is indeed a treasure trove and bargain. I used to go in there to find old super nintendo games to try and flog on ebay. never made any money out of it but it was fun finding games i used to play when i was a kid.
