I thought about posting all of this in that sticky (maybe I'll post a link to this thread), my fear was that no one would see it since it would be a few pages in.
I didn't want to do something completely redundant (and I realize a lot of the information here is presented elsewhere in stickies), but I also thought having it in a different format could be useful to some people.
