Thanks for the info laxxy. I'm trying to get all my data formatted so that when my Palm arrives, I can get going straight away. Basically I've decided to go for Twinkle as I have been using Mnemosyne on my Win98 PC at work and trying to get it running on my Mac at home (not managed it yet!). Rather than maintaining 2 databases and continually transferring stuff across I reckon keeping a Palm in my pocket could be the answer.
That list I uploaded is basically kanji from past JLPT2 tests from 1991-2004 or something. As they are words from the tests each year, some were likely to be repeated. As you'll have seen, there are both ON and KUNyomi readings in the list. Not that I know all the words, I'm going to use that list simply for reading practice.
Other lists that I'm building are: example sentences to quiz grammar for JLPT2; example sentences for 漢字検定 level 7; verb + object collocations; useful phrases.
I'm also maintaining an RTK2 spreadsheet and dropping the above sentences in so eventually I'll have an example sentence for each and every frame in RTK2.
Whether or not this stuff is useful to others or not is debatable but I'm quite willing to share what I've got.
EDIT: I've got another question...in Mnemosyne you can use "<br>" to start an new line within the same field. Is that the same for Twinkle?
I'll have a look at that file you sent when I get home as I don't have Twinkedit at work.
Cheers,
