Where to Find volume 1

#1
Hello,

I've had so much trouble finding a copy of Remembering the Kanji: Volume 1. I originally tried to order it from Amazon.com in October. After waiting for the six weeks that it said it would take to ship, I got an email saying it would be delayed for another month! I then decided that amazon directly couldn't be trusted, so I ordered a used copy from one of their resellers. I tried three times, and each time I waited a week before receiving an email stating that they were out of stock and couldn't ship it. amazon doesn't have it, no stores around even come close to having it, and I can't find it anywhere.

I'm currently using a copy from a university library (a university to which I don't belong, but I've convinced a friend to continuously renew it for me), but I'm moving to Japan this week and won't be able to continue using a rented copy.

Does anyone know where I could a get a (preferably new) copy online? I don't use ebay, and I haven't been able to locate another place to get it. Would they have it at any bookstores in Japan? I'm about 1/4 of the way through the book and have several hundred flashcards, after having studied Japanese for years with inconsistent results, this is the first system that I've been able to make a regiment out of and would hate to abandon it when I need it most.
