As we all know, the internet is all about winning. One can win in various ways. A popular choice on koohii is to win by arguing over topics completely unrelated to the thread at hand (with bonus points awarded for personal attacks).
Here I offer another way for you all to win: Kanjipeen.
What is Kanjipeen?
The copypasta of your kanjistats from Anki (with the "Seen" section and below excluded)
Requirements?
- Anki
- Japanese Support Addon
- Desire to compare the size of your Kanjipeen with that of others'
Rules?
The only rule I'd like to insist on is that you exclude any RTK or similar decks. The real measure of your Kanjipeen comes not from your isolated kanji cards, but vocab/sentence cards.
To select which fields to include in the stats addon, go to your Anki addon folder, go into the japanese folder, and edit the stats.py file. If you don't know where your addons folder is, open up Anki (the program), and go to Tools > Add-ons > Open Add-ons Folder... You'll want to modify line 15. For example, if you wanted to tell the addon to search a field labeled "Sentences" you would make the following change
As someone who cares deeply about winning on the internet, I'll start the thread off with my own Kanjipeen. Here are my stats as of right now.
