When I was blogging, I saw this happen a lot. Happened to me as well. Zarxrax is right - not uncommon at all.

It's still an anecdote. You can't make conclusions about everyone or what is likely based on it.

I asked TkyoSam (someone who knew him in real-life) on Twitter about him. For whatever reason he insists that Khatz is okay even though he said he hasn't seen him in 2 years. Kind of fishy to me.
