Project: Tadoku Media Guide to 30 Manga from Manga Got a Chance

#1
***Update*** We're looking for a complete beginner who's new to Japanese and still learning kana! ***Update***

Manga Got a Chance (http://mangag.com/) is a free, manga website with a lot of high quality content, even some that have been turned into tankoban later on.

A team of Japanese learners and I are pulling together a guide rating the difficulty of thirty titles from this website. The more people who help the better! Official ratings will be based on the ratings given by at least one beginner, one intermediate and one advanced learner and posted live so that the guide can become useful right away.

You can see the list of titles we're working on here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1LLFl...sp=sharing. Ratings are based on Japanese Level Up's level system (japaneselevelup.com/what-level-are-you).

Official ratings have a minimum range, with the lowest level being the minimum level required for intensive reading and the highest level being the minimum required for extensive reading. Titles without official ratings (and therefore still need to be rated) have a predicted difficulty based on just a glance through the manga. While the predicted rating may be way off, it should give you an idea of what manga to start off with for the rating process.

Anyone who's interested is free to join! We are doing this on a Google Plus community. Feel free to comment with your profile link, username or email here, or email it to me privately if you prefer to do so (saori.no.email[at]gmail[dot]com).

Since Manga Got a Chance is such a big website with so many titles to choose from, the goal of this is to help other learners know where to start by pointing out titles at their level. Another goal of mine is to find a title that's as reader friendly as よつばと! (a manga that's commonly recommended to start out with, good for all levels).
