Here's my (non-literal) attempt:

Hmmm, thinking about the way I learned kanji at elementary school (though it might be too basic)

①漢字練習のテキストで練習して、そのあとまたそれを覚えるまで漢字ノートに書く。
Practise with a kanji practice textbook, and then write them out in a notebook until they are learnt.

②学校の復習テストで間違えたところを、漢字ノートに書いてまた覚えなおす。
Re-learn the bits got wrong on school review tests by writing them out in a notebook.

③小1~4年生?くらいまで学校ではずっとこの繰り返し!
Continuously repeating this from year 1 to around year 4 in elementary school.

④あとは興味のある本を読みふけるとか、新聞?とかニュースを見るとかかなって思います…。
After that, keenly reading interesting books, newspapers?, watching the news and so on, I think.

もしくは、漢字検定とかに興味があるならそれを目標にしてみるとか?二級までくらいが一般人が使うレベルです:)
Otherwise, if you're interested in the Kanji Kentei or something, maybe try aiming for that? Up to around level 2 is what the typical (Japanese) person uses.

私もあんまり本は読まないほうなので、やっぱり漫画とかがいいのかなあ?
I don't read books much either, so manga or something would be good maybe?
