I have to look up the medical terms the first few times they're mentioned in this manga. JLPT N2 for kanji, N3 for basic comprehension I suppose. No ruby unless it's a pun or something like that.
Incidentally, this on-line dictionary is very useful if you're reading something with a lot of slang.
