I wrote something for Android specifically for reading Japanese TXT file with the ability to search EXACTLY like Rikaichan using a downloaded EDCIT. Originally I was writing the App so that I can search for word more conveniently without needing a data plan.
It's not published on the Android App store, are any of you interested? I can publish it to the App Store (though it's still kinda in beta form). It'll be free and open sourced as I've made use of the Rikaichan algorithm.
