You will need to go to the ankiweb.net website, and I think you need to make an account. Then when you log onto the site, there will be a button "Get Shared Decks" on the lower left side of the page....

I think most Japanese people still look on tattoos as signifying yakuza or the like, so I'm not sure that choosing reasonable characters really improves the situation.

In this case, I think that し is the stem (連用形 ren'youkei, I think) of the verb する. I would translate the sentence a bit differently, without the "and".

It should be there as "Heisig Kanji Yomikata". It is numbered according to the previous edition of the works, though, since I did it before the latest editions were released.

Personally, I try to look up words that I haven't seen before or have forgotten, exactly for the reason that you state. Guessing has its limitations.

Vanguard and Fidelity both offer low-cost index funds, including S&P 500 funds.  Fidelity offers general brokerage accounts.  I don't have a Vanguard account, so I don't know what they offer.

Honestly, if you want to learn Mandarin, the difficulty of the language is much less important than your motivation level. Personally, I would learn mainland Mandarin, since the audience is larger.

You could interpret the の as being the indefinite pronoun, which then would be modified by the clauses. That would be something like "the ones that go to the right" and "the ones that go to the left....
