You can say 読むのが好きです 読むことが好きです Which I assume is what you mean, but you can't say 読みが好きです, if that's what you meant? |

Aside from 寂しいsabishii, 懐かしいnatsukashii and 恋しいkoishii can also be used to describe missing something, I think...for hot, I'd say bijin but there's probably some slang that would approximate it better... |
