Nice trick, but it makes the use of any other tags impossible. Definitely not something you want to put in the default deck...

Please don't recompress already compressed audio files. :( Moreover, 96kbps will still produce a huge deck (450-500MB I guess), so it doesn't solve the problem. It's better to show people how to avoi...

I think it's possible, but not worth it. You are basically delaying the jump into native material for months, while gaining very little in terms of learning efficiency.
