I am also fairly new, only 650 or so in but Heisig is pretty adamant that review should be Keyword to Kanji, not the other way around.

Thanks very much for the help, I don't know if I underestimated my own ability or more likely the effectiveness of RevTK but I am doing pretty well with my first 100 kanji.,
