I know it's not directly related... but for memorization's sake concerning the "real" name of the 宀 radical... it's a fun coincidence isn't it? I was less showing it as a way to remember 家's pronoun...

I know Hesig has this one as Ashes and rightfully so. Found out online it also means "creamation" which falls in step well with "Ashes"... then I came across the meaning of "Puckery Juice"... wait... ...
