What does あてくし mean? I can't find it in any dictionaries but it comes up with loads of examples when I google it ._.

From my limited knowledge of Japanese history and culture, it seems to me that despite the influence of Buddhism, the popular philosophy in Japan tends to lean more towards the fatalistic (仕方がない etc) ...

I do agree that some of it is unfair, but I guess this is just one of those situations where you'd get more respect by rising above it. And I'm not saying you shouldn't be proud of your accomplishmen...

Kanji are often used creatively in Japanese song lyrics, for example in the song Promenade by Közi "半面黒像" is pronounced "シルエット". Personally I like "愛羅武勇", meaning "I love you".

Yeah, there's a seperate storyless trainer for kanji words (both singles and compounds) with english translations, and I think they appear in the main story mode as well.

Hey. I'm at what I'd call an intermediate level (or my reading is at least), and I still play Slime Forest from time to time. In the full version there's game modes to study readings and words as well...
