It seems like compound verbs appear a lot in definitions in Japanese dictionaries. It used to bother me because those verbs didn't have their own dictionary entries, and they kind of just looked made...

I finished RTK 1 a long time ago, but I have to agree that this was one of the least vivid primitives. I also don't understand why Heisig assigned three keywords to it -- all of them equally vague.
