Thread: The "What's this word/phrase?" thread Post: The "What's this word/phrase?" thread I'm trying to understand 混んでたよ in the sentence 高速道路は混んでたよ. My guess is that we've got 混む in the て-form, and a final よ, but what's that た doing there? Is it a contraction of 混んでいた? |
