"それは関西に住んでる外国人の大半やなくて、外国人の大半、です。(笑)" ピンポン! と書きたいけど「外国人の大半」を「日本にいる英語圏の人の大半」に変えた方が正しいかな 理由としては、英語を母国語とする人の中では外国語をほんの少しでも喋れるようになったら達成感がおおきからか変なスラングを使ったりするなどちょっと調子に乗っちゃう人は少なくないです。 私も最初はそうだったかもしれない。

I think if you still need a tutor, then worrying about their accent of your tutor is kind of putting the horse before the cart.

Since the dawn of language learning people have been using bilingual dictionaries. They exist for a reason. Using Japanese definitions is just some weird language learner Puritan hang up.
