I don't think they are. I think you can look up words within books and Pages files, but not as a separate app.

I can't wait to get my iPad - there are a few apps that read cbr/cbz files, and you can import them through iTunes directly to the app. Remains to be seen if it'll beat an actual book though.

I highly recommend graph paper. I use a pad meant for Japanese kids. It's Doraemon themed and is just a notepad full of squares. It cost about £1 and works much better than standard graph paper. Lasts...

Keep at it wishroom! The last 200~ can seem like a lot, but if you put your mind to it, you'll be done in a couple of days. The feeling of accomplishment upon finishing is amazing.

I make sure I do my reviews first thing in the morning. Well rested, then have a cup of coffee and worth through them. I don't start adding new kanji until all the reviews are done.
