Yes I'm using that. But when it comes to actually trying to memorise a word for the first time, do you make up stories, as one does with kanji?

Just finished chapter 18 and am on 475! Feeling quite good, but 500 would be amazing. When I think about how I know 475 kanji it sounds like loads but it really doesn't feel like I know that many!
