I've updated the script. People who have installed the previous version, should get an alert the next time they log in. Since the only thing that changed are the addition of the two characters in the RevTK Lite sequence, you might prefer to not yet install this version, particularly if you are already past one of those characters, as it will mess up your review schedule (see earlier posts). You could get rid of the alert by editing the script and replacing the value for version_timestamp at the start of the script with 0.
But perhaps in the future there might come a version that you do want to install. Or you already installed the new version. In those cases it's better to do a different edit. Locate "616" in the middle of the revTKLiteSequence array and remove it and its adjacent comma. Locate "[691,697]" a bit further down the road and replace it with "691,692,[694,697]". For the why and what or how to edit a script, read this post. Alas you will need to do the same kind of edit on every next update, until I come up with a better workaround.

I would like to know whether anybody managed to get both the right French — or German or Spanish — keywords (this I managed to do using the Substitute keyword script) AND the correct numbering of Kanjis, since, at least in the French translation of RTK, the order in which they occur is significantly altered with respect to Heisig's.
I guess that this can be achieved by properly configuring the Alter Sequence script, but it seems to be a lot of work to enter the whole list of numbers. Has anybody attempted / succeeded to do that?

If anyone has done so, or if you send me the list of kanji and/or keywords in Maniette order so that I can generate it myself (if I'm lucky, I still have the french list in the original order to compare to), I'll include it in the next script release. Too bad I still don't have permission to include the keywords themselves in the Substitute script, but it's a start.

I want to try the RevTK Lite option by following the instructions, loading the programs, then the script, but I have a problem when I go to My Profile to check the RTKLite box,
because not box appears. I have tried reloading a number of times and restarting the

When you are on the Profile page, open the Error Console (in your browser's Tools menu), browse to the end and look for a bolded error message. Report the message and the line number displayed on the far right.

I have begun having issues with RevTK Lite today.
When reviewing I am getting a number of Kanji which shouldnt be included. They are easy to notice because I use Japanese keywords.
I removed all scripts except the "Revtk lite" and "Substitute keywords".
I have checked the error console are there are a large number of errors (over 100 I believe).
They correlate to a number of different sections of the website (maybe because i removed scripts?).

Also errors when adding new cards and reviewing.
Whenever I load the review page there are 9 new enteries in the error console.
4 are coloured yellow and are just warnings.
5 are coloured red and are all syntax errors.

That, as we now know, was the malware manifestating itself. I've updated the Alter sequence script (along with the Substitute keywords script) to counter the changes Fabrice introduced before and after the malware attack. All should be working now.
As promised, this version contains the order used in "Les Kanjis dans la tête" by Yves Maniette. Maniette adds 22 characters, 2 of which or not in RTK III: #1296 沓 and #2057 其. As such, they're also skipped in the Maniette sequence, causing frame numbers after the first one to be slightly off compared to the book.
I also added RTK Omnibus, RTK III mixed in with RTK I, for those who like the challenge.
On the Profile page, instead of a checkbox there's now a drop-down list allowing you to choose any (but only one) of the above sequences. Have fun, while it lasts.

Those are CSS errors, unrelated to the script. On the My Profile page you should see a line starting with "Sequence:" followed by a drop down list, followed by "starting after frame#:" and a text edit box. The second entry in the drop down list is "RevTK Lite" and should be preselected if you were previously using RevTK Lite. If not, select it.
