I've been super excited for this app to finally come out.Just tried it for an hour. I definitely like it for rendering better than KanjiDraw (an add-on to KanjiBox). It feels less finicky, and is more assistive. Skritter also gives you drawing feedback as you draw, not after you've finished the entire character. This, IMO, is a major drawback with KanjiDraw. I love that the SRS system tests you on production of characters, compounds, pronunciations, and English meanings. Basically, it tests everything in turn. You can also shut off one or more elements to focus on one element (e.g., writing). This is nice, as I prefer to use KanjiBox for recognition practice. There appears to be great support for Heisig, but I'll let RtK-ers chime in on that score. Overall, great app for kanji production. Pricey ($9.95/mo.), but I can see why they're charging, given the amount of development they've obviously poured into this. Probably too expensive if all you're using it for is kanji production, but it looks good as a comprehensive list-based SRS.
