Give yourself as much recognition exercise with 漢字 as possible. I do this for my vocab deck, and at the end of every Anki session I drill myself on the 漢字 that I found hard to recognize. If it's reading, kanji>kana, and if it's listenning kana>kanji. You could also mix both, as sometimes it's the reading that is too obvious, and sometimes, it's the meaning.
