Sentence translation - correct my horrendous Japanese :) - invidious - 2012-07-30

I'm trying to say something like:
I'm paying homage to the house that brought you to me.
I felt that I should pay homage to this house for its role in bringing you to me.

I don't want it to sound super serious, but rather fun and cute.
I had to change it around due to my limited abilities. It's going to be on a post card.

(Edit)
Another sentence:
I'm trying to say:
Since youre so very kind and sweet, youve earned the highest possible grade!
She teaches young Japanese students, and puts stickers and cute little drawings on their papers when they do well. So, I got some stickers of my own and am going to make a little drawing myself. Tongue
I feel odd throwing compliments at her, because I wouldn't normally do that in English - but from what Ive heard it's more common in Japan.
If this is too cheesy please let me know! We have been dating a few months btw

She got motivated to move to America partly through watching "Little House on the Prairie", so I have a post card from Kansas that has a picture of the house that Laura Ingalls Wilder grew up in.

I suppose

I... don't know how to make the second one sound not strange in any language without potentially offending her. Sad

do you think you could explain the sentence a bit so that I understand it?

I'll try...

I am thankful for this house that lead you to me

あなたを僕に導く - leads you to me
I am thankful for this house existing

Is that clear?
