NOFX, MXPX, the Ataris, Dance Hall Crashers, etc. Even Japanese Ska bands would be great. Thanks, JCJC Japanese Alternative/Punk/Hardcore - rahsoul - 2012-06-09 Not sure if this is what you're looking for, as I dunno if not being a girl band was a requisite. I like their engineer shtick and also the fact they build robots to play their songs for them. Conceptually interesting. A whole concert however would probably be pure torture. http:// Japanese Alternative/Punk/Hardcore - Bokusenou - 2012-06-09 Hmm, I'll add a few: Ellegarden (Most of their songs are in English, but there are a few in Japanese): Aural Vampire: ONE OK ROCK: Oh, and I second using Last.fm to find new bands similar to the ones you like. It's introduced me to a lot of groups I love, which I never would have heard of otherwise. They even have a Japanese version (lastfm.jp). ^-^ Japanese Alternative/Punk/Hardcore - Harpagornes - 2012-06-09 Aural Vampire - Isn't that a girl band : ) Japanese Alternative/Punk/Hardcore - Tori-kun - 2012-06-10 Absolutely unrelated to the topic, but since we are talking about music: does anyone know bands/groups making music like ChouChou/OrcaOrca? I discovered them recently and I'm just blown away o_o This is an example: http://youtu.be/UfrMELcvi8k Japanese Alternative/Punk/Hardcore - quark - 2012-06-10 Not sure if these are along the lines you're looking for, but worth giving it a shot. 0.8秒と衝撃 is great.
