Multilingual side-by-side texts + audiobooks? - tnall - 2012-06-08

I'm looking to ladder my language studies so I can brush up on my French and German while advancing my Japanese studies. Would anyone have any links for multilingual books and their audiobooks? If you have any for any other language pairings as well, I'm sure people in this forum would love it if you shared Big Grin

Buonaparte probably has something you're looking for in his thread. A ton of resources can be found there (it's not just Japanese-English materials. )

As to the corresponding audiobooks - search Our Mother, the Internet. She's usually very generous. Except for Japanese and Korean.

If I were to start learning again, I would use book2 for starters, and JW books - no need to proofread anything, parallel texts are easy to make, and the audiobooks are always there.

I wish you the best of British.

It is all very fine,
But she screws all the time,
And I've blisters all over my chopper.

For people who like learning multiple languages at a time.
It was a hobby of mine for some fifty years.
The materials have their drawbacks, of course, nothing is perfect under the sun, the Almighty Amaterasu included.
I haven't found anything better so far, unfortunately.
1. book2 - 40 something languages, Japanese, Mandarin, Korean included.
2. JW books - texts and parallel texts (Japanese and Mandarin included).

These are worth trying:
My Book of Bible Sotries
Learn from the Great Teacher
The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived
The corresponding audiobooks, if available, are to be found here:
